Lobby Congress and Senate
Call/meet your congressional representative and senetor or members of their staff and urge them to do more towards the following:
- Help the Nubians to protect their land and preserve their heritage, culture, and language by pressuring Khartoum regime to:
- Forgo construction of dams in Nubia.
- Stop the cultural genocide.
- Stop the just started human genocide. View Massacre Video
- Pressure Khartoum regime to release the Nubians in detention.
- Disapprove the $13 billion arms sale to Egypt as these arms will be tuned agains the Nubians.
- Stop aid to Egypt as it conspires with Khartoum regime against the Nubians.
Lobby UNESCO
Call/Email UNESCO to convey the urgency of the following:
- Declare Nubia in Northern Sudan and Southern Egypt as a World Heritage Site.
- Enforce the rights of indigenous Nubians to live in their homeland and preserve their heritage, culture, and language.
- Disapprove the nomination of Farouq Hosni, the Egyptian Culture Minister, to head the organization.
Boycott Genocide Olympics
Join the campaign aimed at shaming China on Darfur and Nubia
- If you are an Athlete, do not participate in China's 2008 summer olympics.
- If you are a fan, do not attend China's 2008 summer olympics.
- Spread the word among athletes and fans to forgo China's 2008 summer olympics.
Get Involved
Be proactive and encourage others to:
- Participate in our rallies/protests.
- Attend our education forums and fund raising eventse.
- Spread the word among families, friends, co-workers, congregations, and community members about the imminet threat to the Nubians and to their cultural survival.
- Mobilize the Media to cover our events.
